We pioneered the fast oil change industry in 1979 by establishing the first drive-through service bay, providing fast and professional maintenance service. We’re responsible for major advances in industry, including the introduction of the reminder sticker to help drivers keep track of their oil change intervals.

We use leading technology to educate customers about vehicle maintenance services; share customers' maintenance histories across its network; and provide services that satisfy vehicle manufacturers' warranty requirements. This gives drivers the freedom to visit any service center with the peace of mind their records travel with them.

Jiffy Lube is also widely recognized for its environmentally responsible track record and community service commitments. We collect more used oil than any company in North America. This oil is re-refined and used for industrial applications, such as concrete manufacturing, electricity generation and heating asphalt to pave roads.

Our development managers provide site selection assistance using information drawn from our most successful centers. We subscribe to a sophisticated computerized mapping system identifies demographic, geographic, financial and marketing information about any neighborhood in Canada.

Basic building plans and specifications are provided. Our service centers offer maximum operating efficiency and aesthetic appeal. Stores are typically built with 2-3 service bays, enabling technicians to work on several vehicles at once.

Prior to opening your service center, you'll work at a
Jiffy Lube center and meet other franchisees. You and your service center manager will also attend a classroom-training course to familiarize you with various aspects of our system.

Before your center opens, our field staff will help you train your initial personnel. You'll also receive detailed policies and procedures manuals and other written operating, marketing and training materials.

You'll receive a point-of-sale computer system that enables franchisees to record customer and marketing data, to identify automobile service requirements and identify strengths and weaknesses in their operations.

We work with you to keep your business growing by implementing marketing programs such as fleet maintenance and database marketing. We also conduct research and develop procedures for offering additional services to customers.
